Popularity of Soccer in the United State

Soccer is the most popular game played in the world, and has the broadest fans ever in a stadium, only soccer can be compared in these modern day sports that attracts a crowd from all over the world like back in the days Colosseum in Rome, and still these amazing game is not really appreciated here in the United States. And their could only be one possible explanation from my point of view. I think the United States can not really appreciate the game of soccer because we are unable to win a World cup tournament, and until these is done soccer will remain at its present state like it has always being in America. The fact that David Beckham was brought from England and paid about 200 million dollars for a five years contract to play for the LA Galaxy hoping to change soccer's popularity in America, has also resulted in a failure from what we could all see. Forgetting that we already tried that few years ago when pele pele came to America for the same purpose, and that only proves my point. And speaking of David Beckham, because of his popularity here in America a lot of people thinks his the best soccer player in the world. Comparing to Ronaldinho of Brazil. Who do you think is the best?

The Greatest Team Ever

The Greatest Team Ever, The New York Giant. Have proved all the sceptics wrong at last. Besides winning ten straight games "on the road" in the regular season, which has never happened before in the history of NFL. They managed to do it against some of the teams who where supposed to be on the top of the NFL stat rankings. Such as Tamper Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Green Bay Packers. At the end of the season though, they wound up wowing everyone by beating the over rated New England Patriots. After they went the entire season undefeated, they eventually meet a true challenge when they went against "The Giants" in the most important game of the season. The Super Bowl. Elli and his Brother Payton Manning has proved to be the greatest NFL quarter backs of today's National Football League. After Payton Manning beat the Chicago Bears last year for the championship trophy. His younger brother took his this season with the help of an unmatched defensive line, that broke through all offences all season and settle them a place in the NFL history books. As the dominant team of the 2007-2008 season, and no one could top them.

The Broken Finger

Los Angeles Lakers continues their winning streak with the 6th straight win against the Phoenix Suns defeating them 130 to 124, with Kobe Bryant's fractured pinky contributing 45 points on the Lakers score board which made that the third loss for the Phoenix against the Lakers this season. most people referred to the game as a playoff quality march-up game. should we expect more performance like these from Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2008 Playoff games?

The Dynasty has Begun

The Los Angeles Lakers team are in a good place right now these season, Kobe Bryant has been putting in a lot of work nice field goal percentage, incredible blocks, averaging about 9 assists on every game, basically getting his teammates more involved. His the best  player on the NBA right now period. and Gasol averaging about 20 points per game has taken the place of  Shaq I think the Lakers are back, they are completely ready for the playoffs season and has the potential of becoming  the 2008 championship winners. Do you think that Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers can restore there glory days?
